UNICEF Egypt - Poster

About the Project

OFFICIAL project with UNICEF Egypt when they announced a competition over their Facebook official page; targeting designers to make a poster to be printed and posted on social media, entitled "International Day of Girl Child - 11/10/2014", as to represent the violence against girl child and some other related issues like "Prevent form Education, Female genital mutilation ... etc"

I've participated in that competition, when results came out I was the winner for The First Place.

Concept

The design mainly represents the "Natural life" or "what supposed to be like" of any girl child, as for the left dark part is a "man, society, traditions, violence" preventing the child to go live her natural life; and the whole design is in a wide Frame of a sad girl".

Inspiration

I found a picture for a side face of a girl child; I eventually started to illustrated her face borders and use it to tell a story inside. Here is the real picture of the girl:
